Student Employment Programs

Every year the Chamber tries to be involved in some sort of Student Employment Program.  This program provides a student with summer employment at the Chamber of Commerce. This is an opportunity for the student to learn the skills required to organize, prioritize, and interact with people in a business-like manner.

The Chamber receives subsidized wages for the student to offset the costs of hiring.  This is definitely a win-win situation. The Chamber hopes to continue the program this year as well, but is waiting for the funding to become available.
