Kayaking and Canoeing can be experienced in several areas within our District. You can canoe Bruce Bay or launch your canoe at the dock in Desbarats and canoe in the protected bay with its scattered islands.

You can also launch your canoe at Rydal Bank and canoe up to Otter Tail Lake to the Thessalon River along to Gordon Lake (1 and 1/2 hours) or continue to Rock Lake. This total return adventure is between 4-5 hours.
