The Northern Ontario Country Music Association presents The Great Northern Opry Country Music Weekend in Bruce Mines from Friday, July 23 to Sunday, July 25
The annual Bruce Mines Great Northern Opry country music weekend will be bigger and better than last year!
This year Naomi Bristow is being featured. She is from a small farm near Beeton. Ontario. She is 12 years old and is Canada's Yodelin Cowgirl.
Naomi Bristow has recieved "The Fans Choice Award" from the Havelock Jamboree - the "Rising Star Award" from the BC Cowboy Heritage Festival and the Western Music Association "Youth Yodeler of the Year Award."
Naomi has opened for GENE WATSON - JESSIE FARRELL - AARON PRITCHETT - THE GOOD BROTHERS - LARRY MERCEY and many others. She has also Recorded three CD's. Not bad for a 12 year old.
Bands from North Bay - Manitoulin Island have been booked along with lots of Bands from the Sault Area and Special Guests from Timmins.
