Cross country ski-ing and Snowshoeing

The area's cross-country ski trails are maintained by volunteers or private property owners.  No guarantee is made regarding the condition of the trails and the use of the trails is entirely at your own risk.

Snowmobiling

The Bruce Mines Sno-Glyders Snowmobiling Club maintains 150 km of trails, with 88 km of local trails and 62 km of TOP D trails.

During the winter snowmobile enthusiasts skim along the groomed trails through the back woods to Sault Ste. Marie, Chapleau, Sudbury, or other small towns as a destination for a day or multiple day outings.

The frozen lakes provide great sledding with tree marked safe trails to Drummond Island in Michigan, St. Joseph Island, Cockburn Island and Manitoulin Island .

It’s a sledder’s dream come true!
