From 1985 to 2020 the Chamber of Commerce has honoured as Citizen of the Year those individuals who have proven to go beyond everyone's expectations for the betterment of the community. These honoured citizens contribute a substantial amount of time and effort to make Bruce Mines a better place to live and include community volunteers, municipal councillors, mayors, neighbours helping neighbours and so on.
